Two estranged multimillionaire brothers are caught on a "crooked path" of intrigue and violence that could have cost them their lives. Their adventure all started with a phone call that Hidmore reluctantly placed to his older brother, Lawrence, asking him to assist with the sale of the estate and its contents. Initially, Lawrence balks at the idea of helping the brother he thoroughly dislikes. Lawrence finally relents inevitably agreeing to meet him in Big Stone. Thus, the journey on the "crooked path" is about to begin...
