The National Baseball Hall of Fame is one of the greatest landmarks in both baseball and in professional sports. However, throughout the history of baseball, there have been players who were highly accomplished, but they get overlooked for a variety of reasons. Whether their contemporaries dominated their era, or they did not receive enough notable accolades or some other vague rationale, there are those whose production, performance, and greatness isn't acknowledged, especially by those who vote on the Baseball Hall of Fame, the BBWAA.

Through analytics, accolades, production in their era, and other variables are used to make the case for these great players from a myriad of eras from the game. From amazing hitters, such as Albert Belle and Steve Garvey, to stellar pitchers, such as Denny McLain and David Cone, this book offers a unique perspective of these greats.

Aside from players, Cooperstown Delight also analyzes the many biases that exist amongst the Hall of Fame voters/baseball writers and how the voting process for the Baseball Hall of Fame should, and must, change. By way of a proposed voting model, we retroactively look at prior voting classes, starting in 2010 until 2021, to assess who should be in the Hall of Fame, but most importantly, should not.
