The call of conscience is a constant in each person. That ever repeating refrain is calling each of us to pursue the good in our daily lives. Each of us, throughout our lives, are called by our church, to formulate a well-formed conscience. This continuous path of reflection is a lifelong discipline of self-awareness requiring us to constantly unify our understandings of morality with those of God's.
The goal of this booklet will be to provide a critical definition of conscience and a description of its attributes (sacred, frail, social), share examples from the lives of the saints of virtuous decision making in the face of cultural opposition, and provide a methodology for individuals to continue to intentionally form their consciences. For the call of the conscience is to pursue the Good in our daily lives.
