Computer and ICT Dictionary

The goal of this Dictionary is not just to define computer terms, but to explain them as well. Definitions of computer terms are helpful, but explanations with examples are even better. This book contains hundreds of Computer and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) terms, all with detailed explanations with some Keyboard Shortcuts that would be of help to you while working on the Computer System.

Some of the terms in the dictionary are common and easy to understand, while others are less common and more advanced hence, a need for lucidity.

Therefore, there is need for one to be familiar with the language of this age, so that one will not be aloof from others when the terms are being used. You cannot do anything in today's world without Computer; you use it in houses, offices, banks, farms, religion, and schools etc. Knowledge is power. Your ability to study, know and use these terms will stand you out in our society.

The book is designed for all and sundry ranging from workers in various organization or establishments, staff of telecommunication companies, market women and men, politicians, and others. Next time you go to your bank, and they tell you the "SERVER" is down or there is no "NETWORK", you will understand what they are saying and more appreciate the system.

This revised edition has come with lots of changes, additions and improvement based on my interaction with Staff of Educational Resource Center. I have added worksheet for each alphabet and word puzzle for better interactions between the teachers and students.
