Two Story Haunting evokes the feel of a campfire ghost story, while The Boardroom has a sense akin to that of a modern slasher movie. The final entry, Fly is My Soup is evocative of a classic Edgar Allen Poe tale, finding horror in the mundane, similiar to Stephen King's style. Ghosts and vampires are not the most frightening things in the world. Death is what adds a dimension of death to life. What binds all fears together whether commonplace or fantastic, is the scarlet thread of death.
