Thoughtful, revealing, and insightful. A unique narrative takes us from the sandy beaches of the Jersey Shore and post-war real estate boom to chartering a bank, to exotic travels, "Clamdigger" is one man's compelling story of the many roles he filled over the course of his life. Clamdigger: "Clamming would be a part of my life no matter how busy I became as a developer and banker." "Tycoon": "including a dollar trail from the depression years of the early 1930's through the incredible acquisition of 5000 acres by the mid sixties, described in "The New York Times" as "one of the most complex detective stories in the world of real estate." "Naval Officer": "Under kamikaze attack in Okinawa, I question those who now think the dropping of the atomic bomb was ruthless." "Philanthropist": "Gifts include a municipal town hall to the Township of Stafford, ten acres to Southern Ocean Community Hospital and a First Aid building." "Clamdigger, Tycoon and More" invites us to take a journey that includes family, military duty, naturalism, capitalism, sportsmanship, and self-discovery. Here is a story of one man's celebration of a life well lived.
