Exiled to the farthest reaches of space for his 'humanity,' Chip-a first generation Homo-Digito Sapien-is unexpectedly recalled. The Earth Algorithmic Council needs his unique mind, not to fight the Kryll's battle fleet, but to awaken a damaged, reality-bending weapon: the Quantum Psychic Resonator. The catch? Only one man can help activate it: Allan, a brilliant "Pure Human" scientist, also exiled for defying the Homo-Digito Sapiens' vision, now trapped by the cosmic chaos of an exile.
As the Kryll descend, consuming cities in waves of alien "Swarmer-Wings," Chip and Allan must unite, their ideals forced together by an existential threat. They navigate interstellar dangers and interspecies politics, pushing the boundaries of technology and consciousness, to unleash the QPR's unimaginable power.
