The last time Caroline saw Adam she threw her fist into his face, avenging her best friend's broken heart. The next time she meets him she has just boarded a last minute flight out of the country, and he's in the seat next to hers.

Much less in the shape of the one woman who literally can not stand him, and makes it her mission to let him know. He has so many reasons why to stay away, yet finds himself falling anyway.

Back home, Caroline's world collapses and she does everything in her power to forget about Adam and Greece entirely. Albeit, chasing away memories proves to be near impossible when the boy in them isn't settling for fading pictures - but wants August to last forever.
