Changing Tack Part 2

The purpose of this little book is to help people understand the realities of trying to transition from working full-time or part-time to achieving genuine retirement. I am making this journey myself and just wanted to share with other people what it is really like.

In the context of this book, the working assumption is that the road to retirement is stopping paid work and only doing voluntary stuff. The book will address 3 options: 

1. "Retire" - your financial position means you can do this
2. "Repeat" - you could retire, but you are enjoying what you are doing so much you want to carry on, OR your financial position means you have to carry on earning.
3. "Reinvent" - you could retire, but you have at least one more new activity that you want to explore before you retire, OR your financial position means you have to carry on earning. 

I have selected 30 lessons that I have learned thus far and tried to balance what I have experienced with observations from other people. I am extremely grateful to them all. My key objective is to present you with an opportunity to move forward with confidence and "eyes wide open".
