I had run away. I hadn't had any choice. The men who killed my husband were after me and I couldn't give them what they wanted. The only way to keep myself safe was to get out of town, out of the state and as far away as possible.

Once I got to where I was going, the only way to stay safe was to stay under the radar. I had more than enough money, but I couldn't put my name on anything. That was how I'd found myself living under an overpass and a bunch of homeless people.

That was how I found myself catching the attention of Feargus "Celt" O'Flanagan. I just had to stay hidden for a little while longer . . . but that was going to be impossible if Celt didn't back off.

Who falls in love with a homeless woman? Me, that's who. One look at her and I was lost. I needed her, I had to have her and I wouldn't stop until I got her.

Stalker much? I knew she was in trouble. I knew I could help her. I knew she didn't belong under an overpass and when I saw her walking past one of my jobs dressed in expensive clothes with her hair done, I knew I was right. She was special, whoever she was.

With only the name Flower to go by, I wasn't sure how I was going to convince her to let me help her, but I'd have to figure it out somehow because I wasn't letting her go.
