"Caspar: Last of the Magi was an exciting book. The story was exciting, the characters were real, and I gained many historical insights. I particularly loved how the author explained certain places and people at the end of the book with illustrative diagrams and pictures. I also loved the historical text that opened each chapter of the book, making it evident that it was not merely a tall tale of fiction.
I didn't find anything not to like about the book. I'd recommend it to history lovers, historical fiction fans, romantics, and adventure lovers. I rate Caspar 4 out of 4 stars."

"Typically, I gauge how powerful and impacting a book is for me by how much I miss its storyline, its characters, and certainly their adventures. This epic tale of Caspar is one of those.
I appreciated Dr. Fraikor's inclusion of primary historical source introductions to each new section throughout the novel. They added clarity, perspective, and historical fact to the unfolding drama.
In the closing chapters, this author so well captures the conflict between the Old World thinking (gods and goddesses) and the advent of Christianity and science. A five-star historical novel.
