Call Me Crazy

You can call me Nick. Yes it's short for Nicholas, if you really want to know. I don't care what you do with that information, I have nothing to hide. Well, I won't after your finished my book anyway. Did I say "my" book? I meant "our" book. I can't claim it as my own because it's more of a compilation, a crockpot full of lives that simmered together for a few hours and despite its brown colour and questionable ingredients, blended into something...edible.

At times it can be hard to swallow, at other times, it's like an addiction. It's just too easy to keep going, until it's not, and you feel like you want to puke. If that's the case, you and Jackie will get along just fine. If this book makes you want to bash your head into a wall and throw something across the room, then you should have a chat with Sean. Laura could give you a few tips on how to wash it down, but personally, I think it's better to let the feelings simmer inside of you. Let this book be a spark of inspiration to set out and take control of your own life.

For me, it's a taste of freedom, and familiarity, like a dish that grosses everyone else out while it reminds you of home. It's the taste of my memories. Flavourful---in the way where you don't necessarily want to know what's in it because you might have a mouthful of creamed peas. I hate peas.

In fact, everyone should hate peas. Luckily for everyone, this book isn't made of peas.

My point is, try a taste of this homemade recipe. After all, you don't know if you like it until you try.
