If you have to choose between your religion and global peace, what will you choose? This book encourages you to choose peace over religion. One big claim in the book is that all the world's problems are rooted in religious beliefs. It says, the wars (including world wars), terrorism, mafia gangs, and all other evils have their roots in religious beliefs. It in fact accuses people who blindly follow their religion as the reason for why there is no peace in this world. The book intensely questions your religious beliefs and the source for your beliefs. It cross examines the validity of the scriptures used by various religions and it slowly leads you to understand that your religious beliefs have no proper foundation. The primary religions targeted in this book are Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. The intention is not to prove that peace and religions cannot co-exist, but that peace may be given higher preference.

The book advocates a political compromise to separate religions from governments for the sake of world peace. The role of governments should be protection of people alone and it should aim to protect all the people within its ambit.
