Set in the vibrant and gritty streets of Atlanta, Georgia, Boulevard: An Urban Tale of Redemption follows the stories of three friends-Xavier, Larry, and Rashad-as they, and a host of other characters, navigate the challenges of life in the hood. For the key player, Xavier, loyalty to his friends and family is as thick as the blood that runs through his veins. Larry is devoted to maintaining his friendship with Xavier, even dragging Xavier with him when running from the law. That mistake sent both on a trip to the Rice Street Jail, where the realities of hood life sprang into action. Rashad is the star of the high school's basketball team and Xavier's best friend whose life was snubbed out by a bullet. The teen's murder catapulted the tight-knit community into a frenzy after learning who was behind the trigger.

The allure of materialism threatens to consume each of them, but their faith provides a source of strength to endure and overcome. They soon discover that rap music can be a source of healing and empowerment. With the ability to set their wounds to words when joining the hip-hop game, the young men learn how to rebuild their broken lives-but not before encountering the Beast...the one who holds an umbrella of despair over Boulevard, causing people to do his bidding in exchange for their souls.
