The blast from explosive action is responsible for devastations caused and it is purely a practical term, which could not be calculated by ideal means. The role of surrounding media, confinement, composition, booster, and nature makes blast more dependent on empirical relations for prediction and estimation. Since blast has experimental significance, the study remains incomplete in this domain. Available books mentioned at the end gives sufficient outlook of the blast phenomena but comprehensive account of Blast is always missing in open literature. This book is an attempt to bridge the knowledge gap and consolidate available information till 2025 on this subject at one place.
For novelty, the chapters of the books are chosen with certain questions, which are answered as content of the book. Like blood pressure is a measure of health of human beings in medical terminology, blast wave is like blood pressure of explosive. The title is taken from that very fact. The release of the book was planned on Indian Festival of Deepawali, the day on which firecrackers are exploded in jubilation, which resembles the content of this book.
