When Keith, a former guitarist, feels pressured into reforming his old band for a ’70s rock tribute competition in memory of his best friend and lead vocalist, Daniel, his mental health unravels. If he’s to turn his life around, Finn must impersonate Daniel’s hero, Marc Bolan, and become part of a T. Rex tribute band.
Can Keith overcome his grief by remembering who he once was? Can Finn overcome his by remembering who he always wanted to be? Do they have what it takes to trust each other and grab their golden opportunity with both hands?
Being Bolan is a poignant and uplifting story that explores what it means to be human and delves into the complexities of mental health amongst men.
