Kiki is moulded and shaped by her employers' demands and those of her clients until she is forced to change who she is.

When Covid-19 creates chaos in the world, she is forced to isolate with her client for a period of twelve weeks. She must search far and wide for inspiration and meaning in life after realising that seeing her family in South Africa was all but impossible.
