beautifully broken

I became brittle, in mind and heart. I started to spiral and lose the person I should have known more than anyone else in the world. As time went on and my negative emotions deepened, I became broken. It felt uncontrollable and unknown. It felt numb and I found myself in complete darkness. I felt unworthy and broken. Little by little, the light started to seep in and make itself comfortable. A bandage was patching itself over my brokenness. This wasn't a normal bandage found in a First Aid Kit. It was God who found me in my darkness and sorrow. It was His light that led me out of that darkness and brought me to the light with Him. I became beautiful, the way He had always known me to be. This poetry book explores the emotions of living a life of feeling empty and lost, and how it feels to finally feel free and loved. It embraces the beauty of each and every single one of us and how special it is to find Jesus and allow Him to remind you of your worthiness. This journey has helped me overcome my own struggles and negative images of self-worth. It is my intention that this book helps anyone who picks it up feel worthy of His love. You are all worthy. You are all loved.
