A serial rapist is terrorizing single women in Lower Manhattan. Nicknamed the Zodiac Rapist, after the cards left at each scene, detectives at the 35^th precinct are working around the clock to catch the attacker. O'Connell's first day on the job starts off with a gruesome double homicide, but the crime scene is almost identical to a scene he'd seen 10 years ago to the day. The day his parents were murdered. Is the scene set up for him, or is it merely a coincidence?

As the rapist's pattern emerges, the team set up a plan to stop the next attack when they start receiving taunting calls, mocking their pathetic attempts to stop him.
