This book was written to help people, period. The book is primarily intended to help defendants and the families of defendants facing the criminal justice system. It would take many volumes to address every issue in the criminal justice system, and this book is not designed to accomplish that goal. Rather, this is intended to provide a snapshot of what you and your family will likely face going forward, whether your case is prosecuted at the federal, state, juvenile, municipal or military level.

This book is designed to address the most common questions faced by potential clients and families facing the widest range of the criminal justice system. It is not designed to answer every question about your specific case. In order to have questions answered about your specific situation, you need to meet with an experienced criminal defense attorney that has the discovery and all information relevant to your case. As we say, no two cases nor any two clients are exactly alike.
