Neferukekashta's love and bravery drew the attention of one of the most powerful goddesses known. Her attributes helped her to become an instrument in a bonding that would weather the test of time, helping her to unify her disorganized, disbanded people into becoming one of the greatest civilizations on the planet. Her ancestors, the original inhabitants of The Mountains of The Moon, made their way up the Nile Valley while battling the harshest of elements and starving predators in every direction. Adding to the evolving effects of desertification, starvation, and man-eating beast, they were also being stalked by an eternal evil that wanted nothing less than humanity's total annihilation. Not only did Neferukekashta find herself fighting for the lives and future existence of her people, but she was also engaged in a battle for their very souls.
