Alaine and the Train

Alaine is a curious little girl who loves discovering new things. She is about to embark on her favorite journey-to visit her grandmother! Along the way, Alaine discovers exciting new sights and sounds, making memories that will last forever.

This story was originally written by my maternal grandmother,

Norma (Nana), whose imagination and creativity brought this

beautiful children's tale to life many years ago. Although the

manuscript spent years tucked away in a drawer, my mom, Alaine

-Norma's only daughter-always knew it was there. The story was

a heartfelt token of love from Norma to Alaine, a reflection of

their deep bond.

Though Nana never had the chance to publish her work, I am

honored to share it with the world to keep her memory alive and

to celebrate the love she poured into this story. I, Jennifer,

have lovingly refreshed the manuscript and created the

illustration outline to bring Nana's words into a new generation.

Together-despite being decades apart-we have created a

meaningful work of art that blends her timeless storytelling with

my vision and care. This book is a celebration of our connection,

her legacy, and the enduring magic of family creativity.
