After retiring at age 60, Lee Gale Gruen started attending an acting class for seniors just as a pastime. A few weeks later, her mother died. Seeing her 85-year-old father so grief-stricken, she invited him to come to class with her. That began a magical journey of bonding and learning about life in the twilight of theirs. For three years, they performed numerous times in the class showcases, and became a popular, father-daughter acting team adored by their audiences. With emotion and humor, Lee Gale recounts the endearing tale which also includes her writing their scenes, gathering the props and rehearsing with her dad. Finally, as her new professional, acting career starts to take off, his health begins to decline. This remarkable story will resonate with Baby Boomers, seniors and their family members and friends everywhere.
