A Simple Washington Olympic Adventure

In this collection of kid-friendly poems, Douglas "Doug" Kenney, writes about his fascinating and amazing vacation in the Washington Olympic area that took place from May 24th to May 31st, 2025. Doug landed in Seattle, and visited Olympic National Park, Port Townsend, and Whidbey Island while staying in Port Angeles.

Doug, who is a popular podcaster on YouTube, has autism, Bipolar Type II, and ADHD. He went through hardships growing up, and a remarkable life-turnaround through the mentorship of Australian Hollywood actor, Andy McPhee. Both Andy and Doug run the "R-U Relentless and Unstoppable?" YouTube/Facebook platform where they share the stories of people who overcame struggles or achieved big things. Andy's son - Kodi Smit-McPhee is an Oscar-nominated actor who was in the recent X-Men films, and he almost won an Oscar for his best-supporting actor role in "The Power of the Dog," in 2022.
