A clinical organization is a place to store and secure the patients' details & medical records and that information should be treated as private & confidential. Recently, the researcher have made a survey on the current manual system which is going through officially in most of the Malaysian government clinics. Most of the respondents responded as negatively. So that the researcher would like to overcome their negative responses by implementing a new web-based computerized system which will be called as Patient Information System (PIS). PIS system enables the clinicians (Admin, Doctors, and Pharmacists) to manage the patient registration processes & appointment setting/ booking processes, organize patients' records & appointments' records, to manage diagnosing processes & prepare prescriptions for patients. The patients can book an appointment in this PIS system and can view their booked appointment details in PIS as individually at any place, any time and at anywhere as long as there is an Internet connection. This research determines the effectiveness of using an online system in the clinics is an effort to improve efficiency and productivity between the clinicians and patients.
