In the chaotic aftermath of "The Fall," America lies divided, with a self-proclaimed "Ruling Council" controlling what is now called Newmerica. For five years, they've maintained power through fear, "Social Enforcement" gangs, and rewriting history through the Truth Reconciliation Committee.

When the former Vice President, long thought dead, emerges and takes the oath of office, the battle lines are drawn.
