Twelve-year-old Sam never expected his grandfather's dusty attic to hold the key to a world beyond imagination. Guided by Wilfred, a guardian owl with boundless wisdom and magical abilities, Sam meets the Lumara tribe, who live in harmony with their Ice Age world. But all is not well; the balance between humans and nature is breaking, threatening the tribe's existence. Sam must draw upon his grandfather's riddles, his own courage, and the lessons he learns along the way to restore harmony.
