Winds through the Mulberry Tree is a book about the faithfulness of our Lord even through the most difficult times in our lives. Fifteen-year-old Brenna Grace Clark was taken home to be with Jesus after a car accident on August 30, 2019. The passing of Brenna Grace was the source of unimaginable grief and pain on the Clark family. God speaks to us in many ways, but a broken heart listens very well. This book looks into the feelings of a father, who is supposed to be in control of all things family, over the first twenty-three days after the accident. He will express his emotions and hope along the way. The story centers around God using the family's mulberry tree. It was a reminder of the lesson that God had taught Wade the week before in Sunday school as David was instructed to wait on God under the mulberry trees. This book will take the reader from the most tragic night that this family has ever faced and lead right into the faith that is available and needed to endure such a tragedy. It spells out the one single hope that all people have and helps the reader understand exactly how to get this hope through salvation. The story will show that relief comes during tragedy. It just comes slowly and at different paces for individuals. The author will help everyone feel the raw emotion involved in such a trial, while showing the reader how powerful our God is. This book instills into the reader the need for a sense of urgency in our relationship with Jesus Christ. No one is guaranteed tomorrow, and people have to live each day as if Jesus could come back now or he or she could be taken home.
