We also see theway both characters Ndidi and Ndubuisi climb the ladder ofsuccess until when the hands of the clock start to tick towardsthe opposite direction. The situation then becomes tricky as canbe seen on reading through the novel. One therefore wonderswhat then lies in the future of these two main characters, who ascan be seen from the onset had started on a clean slate.
