Transatlantic Tales

The conception and writing of Transatlantic Tales were a two-year,collaborative, across the pond project between friends of more thantwenty years. Their friendship initially formed out of a mutual love forpoetry - both belonging to a (now non-existent) global poetry society. This book is a collection of short stories. Each month, titles of storieswere proposed by one author with final selection by the other, on rotation. Completely independently, each author proceeded to come up with ideasto create his own unique, creative and imaginative story based upon themonthly title. Thus, the simultaneous birth of two totally different, uniqueand distinct approaches and storylines per title! As the book progressedand took shape, both authors were truly amazed and inspired by their coauthor screation. Instead of being a monthly competition, TransatlanticTales became a vector for mutual admiration and respect between twoartists. It was a special endeavor which was mutually enjoyed and willbring memories of happiness, joy and pride to each of the Transatlantic friends for many years to come.
