Temptation

An acting student. A white villa above Girona. An invitation that seems like a chance — and turns out to be an unsigned contract. Alexia arrives at Roman's party through Boris, her naïve and loyal colleague. There she gets to know the measured luxury, the looks that also evaluate Veronika, the beautiful and sad wife who has closed the stage for a house. That night, a game by the pool makes her visible. An office with the door ajar shows her something she shouldn't have seen: a name, a painting that is too expensive, a society through which money changes its face. This is where the real temptation begins. Not just the money and not just the promised role. The temptation to be silent. The temptation to accept a door opened by someone else. The temptation to believe that you can enter that house and leave unchanged. A literary thriller about power, art, and the duty that hides in gifts, Temptation follows a summer in which a young woman learns the difference between lying to be believed and interpreting to stay whole. Shorter version (if cover space is tight) Alexia is studying acting in Barcelona. Boris takes her to a villa in Girona, to a party that looks like something out of the movies. The host, Roman, has money, paintings and a wife who has been silent for too long. That night, Alexia sees a document that she was not supposed to see. What follows is not just a family secret. It is a machine. And the temptation does not lie in the crime, but in the invitation to become part of it. A thriller about luxury, loyalty and the price of an open door.
