A report reaches the police stating that the head of immigration affairs was shot dead in his home. The investigation reveals no identity other than the fingerprints of an unknown child. But the story doesn't end there. After the murder weapon is found elsewhere, they discover that this crime is part of a larger scheme and the beginning of a series of other horrific crimes. Prosecutor Jana Persilius joins the police investigation, but during the inquiries, she uncovers a dangerous secret related to her past, which she thought was a figment of her imagination. She works in parallel, separate from the police, to uncover her true past and reveal her connection to these crimes. She must find out, on her own, before the police do, who is behind these crimes to protect her past and present.
