Smart Student teaches learners of any age various strategies to "e;super"e; learn material in an easier manner. The book discusses ways to organize manageable segments of time to review and to learn material, how to take notes, review the notes to embed them into long term memory, and how to read passages and take excellent notes so that the students can locate what they need to understand the materials presented. The book discusses determining the main idea, finding supporting details, and introduces how to summarize the learning. Various graphic organizers that enhance the learning are discussed and many examples are provided for the students' easy use. Students are encouraged to read the brief ebook twice to gain the most benefit from the suggestions to improve their learning and improve their academic lives. The tenets taught in this brief ebook have been used for over 35 years in many classrooms and when applied by the students have really helped them to learn more effectively.
