This Narration traces a century of memories from the homeland, where reality and recollection overlap like a dream, weaving a literary portrait of the native place. Navigating the space between fiction and nonfiction, it paints a comprehensive picture of rural Zhuxi in Central South China. The story focuses on the joys and sorrows of seemingly ordinary lives, capturing the exuberance, ambition, and glory inherent in human nature. Zhuzhou, historically part of Tanzhou, draws its linguistic roots from the Xiangtan dialect. Writing in this familiar vernacular, its rhythms guide me through fields, old dwellings, and urban factories. After years of wandering, I return to my overgrown homeland through the power of words.
