Mothers Circle

A mothers circle is an intimate gathering where women find compassion, validation, and acceptance through sharing their stories and experiences with other mothers who can truly offer understanding and support. These days, mothers have all but lost the networks that were organically put in place in early cultures. They say it takes a village to raise a child, and this was certain. It also takes a village to initiate and support a woman into motherhood, but not all mothers have access to a village. The mothers in this book all found themselves seeking support that was simply not there... at least, not in the form of a sisterhood, a circle that would hear them and hold them as they moved through the challenges and joys of motherhood. They share their personal motherhood stories to gift hope, healing, empowerment, and inspiration to other mothers who do not have a circle to hold them.
