Modern Prophet

What does it mean to be a prophet in the modern world while remaining faithful to biblical foundations? In an age where personalities and predictions often shape prophetic ministry, The Modern Prophet calls the Church back to God's original design. Drawing from Scripture, covenant theology, Hebrew thought, and the lives of biblical prophets, Dr Chesney Palmer reveals the timeless patterns that shaped authentic prophetic ministry. From Abraham to John the Baptist, this book explores prophetic identity, divine revelation, covenant, and the centrality of Christ, showing that prophecy is far more than a spiritual gift—it is a life formed by intimacy with God and faithfulness to His purposes.Addressing today's crisis of charisma without character and revelation without relationship, Dr Palmer challenges believers to recover a prophetic ministry rooted in Scripture, anchored in covenant, shaped by holiness, and centred on Jesus Christ. This is more than a book about prophets; this is a call to become the kind of person God can trust with His voice.Whether you are a church leader, theologian, prophet, or believer seeking a deeper understanding of the prophetic, The Modern Prophet will inspire, challenge, and equip you to walk the ancient paths of authentic prophetic ministry. The future Church does not need more prophetic celebrities. It needs faithful prophets who walk with God.
