Milo accepted their lot in life a long time ago, barely making ends meet as a barista and supporting their long-time boyfriend's porn business.  Between the late nights and early mornings, the only indulgence they have to themself is the occasional video from AngelEdge -- a faceless artist on OnlyFans -- and occasional flirtation with the owner of the local apothecary.Sacha opened his apothecary following the death of his husband, using his inherited fortune to follow his passion for herbalism and holistic medicine in his hometown of Blackwater.  Flirting with his favorite customer seems innocent enough, but when he finally drums up the courage to ask them on a date he wakes a threat he long thought had moved on.  Milo and Sacha struggle to nurture their budding romance, but their pasts return to haunt them.  The police are no help, turning a blind eye to the violence on their doorstep and forcing Milo and Sacha to take matters into their own hands if they are to escape the brambled grasp of their past.
