Image is a fictional depiction of the consequences for overstepping ones boundaries. From the moment Major Bahr of the NSA contacted Marcus Reed regarding the attempt on the president's life, Reed knew that POLI had her work cut out for her. POLI, an acronym for Personal Operating Logic Interface is an artificial intelligent (AI) operating system developed by Logic Interface that is being utilized by the NSA to track counter terrorist activity.When Reed is contacted by John McMaster; a long-time friend, with a special request Reed could not refuse him. John; a priest with the Diocese, told him that he is part of a team assigned to analyze the Shroud of Turin and that during the examination they discovered particles of blood imbedded deep within the fabric. Reed understood if these were truly blood particles from Jesus Christ the next; (the only) logical step would be to perform DNA testing on those particles. He told John that if they get an accurate reading then POLI will be able to generate an AI image from the DNA. It wasn't long after having the particles analyzed and returned to LI that they realized something had gone unexpectedly wrong. The newly processed image had that overridden POLI was that of the anti-Christ. The race is on to stop the Image and restore POLI before there is no turning back. Image is a novel about what happens when the government, religion and technology collide. Events unravel as an attempt to generate an image of Jesus Christ through DNA go awry.
