This book is an academic work by a Japanese scholar on the late Qing Dynasty's constitutional studies. Following the structural sequence of the constitutional draft, Kitaki Saburo provides references for each article and appends legal explanations of varying lengths. The legal narratives are rooted in the decline of the late Qing Dynasty, analyzing the tumultuous historical upheavals in late Qing China from multiple perspectives. After its publication, "e;The Draft Constitution of the Great Qing Empire"e; received widespread attention in China.
