Gracefully Broken!

Imagine being in the prime of your life, when all of a sudden, your body just starts weakening and your voice starts slurring for no known reason. Then after many medical tests and visits, and barely now being able to walk or speak, you find out that you have ALS. Lennis was so determined to bring the reader through each stage of her honest and emotional journey with ALS, that she completed most of this memoir with one finger due to the debilitating affects the disease had on her hands. This book also provides invaluable advice that stems not only from her experience as an ALS patient but also as a seasoned nurse. She named the book Gracefully Broken because the disease was unsuspected and seemed to progress gracefully over time. She gives all glory to God for gifting her with the determination and ability to complete this inspiring work.
