The Great War in Heaven began centuries ago between angels loyal to God and those who sided with Lucifer over the fate of humanity. The Archangel Michael led God's army and won the War. Lucifer and the angels who sided with him were cast down from the Heavens to Earth and could never return. The cast-out angels would be forever known as the Fallen. However, the War that started in Heaven is far from over. The Fallen will do whatever it takes to control the destiny of humanity. The Archangel Michael dispatched angels all over the Earth to make sure humanity was kept safe. These angels were warned to observe and report, not become personally involved with the affairs of humans, especially women.Jakiele, who had been on Earth for centuries, had always obeyed Michael without question, but his existence had become unbearably lonely.
