Othello (Othello) is a tragic play for classic English writer William Shakespeare. This play comes from five chapters. This play takes place between Venice and Cyprus. It is believed that it was written in the year 1603, and it is inspired by an ancient Italian story called "The Moroccan Captain", which was written by Sinato Tlemvani Boucocho. This play was published for the first time 1565 AD. The play revolves around four main characters, Atlail, the Moroccan general in the Bindaki Army, his wife, Deedouneh, Lieutenant Casio, Assistant Othale, and the hypocritical flag holder. The subjects of the play vary between racism, love, jealousy and betrayal. It is known to Shakespeare in this play its difference from the well -known tradition at that time, he presented the personality of Atil in a positive way despite his different race, which is not familiar in English literature at the time of Shakespeare, it is customary to describe Arabs, Jews, dark skin and others as wild wild. Shakespeare avoids any discussion about Islam in the play.
