The book contains 66 comments that the author published on newspapers and newsletters of educational groups in three years from 2006 to 2008.The book is divided into six themes, namely:"e;Educational Reform"e;, "e;National Education"e;, "e;Teacher Profession"e;, "e;Higher Education"e;, "e;Comparative Education"e; and "e;Education and Society"e;.The author analyses the main changes and developments of Hong Kong's education from various perspectives, demonstrates the educational situation and the focus of people's attention during this period, and puts forward many incisive and original opinions on various issues.In addition to commenting on local education policies, the author also deconstructs educational development situation and characteristics of in neighboring areas from the perspective of comparative education scholars, and compares them with local education, so as to point out the shortcomings of local education.These materials have important implications for frontline educators, educationalists and any readers concerned about the development of local education in Hong Kong.
