Diary of a Baddie: Bichon & The Beast

She's the woman everyone in Atlanta trusts with their pets—the one with the gentle hands, the sharp mind, and the kind of body that turns heads even when she's in scrubs. A well-respected veterinarian, adored and known for having a gift with animals that borders on magical. By day, she runs a thriving animal clinic; by night, she's sketching plans to expand into breeding pups. She had seen it all in her clinic. But nothing prepared her for the day a man dressed in head-to-toe designer clothing stormed through her doors. He was frantic, panicked, breathless, and clutching a trembling little Bichon Frise, which he named Gucci. From the moment their eyes lock over the exam table, the sparks fly faster than Gucci's tiny paws. Bonding over their shared love of dogs and breeding dreams, she tumbles headfirst into a whirlwind romance with her mysterious new client. The pup was adorable. The man was irresistible. The problem? Gucci was out of control—barking at every shadow, chewing through leashes, and, on their very first meeting, lifting her tiny leg and peeing all over her owner's thousand-dollar shoes. Every time Gucci lost it, she was the only one who could calm her down. And every time she soothed the pup, the man pulled her closer. His charm was intoxicating. One exam turned into late-night calls, then late-night calls turned into something that looked like falling in love. But Gucci's tantrums continued. She barked, snapped, and squirmed whenever the vet was near. Was she trying to say something no one else could understand? She thought she was treating a frantic puppy, but maybe Gucci was warning her. Bichon & The Beast is a wild, sexy caper about puppy love, bad behavior, and the kind of secrets no leash can hold.
