Developing communication skills

Communication skills are a crucial subject for university students-indeed, they are of paramount importance for everyone's success in life. From birth, humans are in constant communication with others, leaving either a positive or negative impression depending on their abilities and the effectiveness of their communication skills in the situations they encounter. Human communication cannot be left to chance without development and improvement; it consists of principles and fundamentals that can be learned, skills that can be developed, and concepts that must be instilled and nurtured. The Communication Skills course aims to prepare students to be qualified during their university studies and upon entering the job market, equipping them with the necessary skills to understand themselves and others. The course covers the tools and methods of human communication and focuses on providing students with the knowledge, skills, and behaviors needed to convey ideas and feelings or to interact positively with and receive messages from others. The course also aims to ensure that graduates are equipped with the essential communication skills required to enter and succeed in the workplace, and are familiar with the basic requirements and skills for public speaking and presentations.
