Seeing an advertisement on the internet for someone to work at Periquito Travel, Lucy decides that she would prefer to work abroad than to take a mundane job in a Manchester hotel. She has a bubbly personality, a good listening ear and enjoys her job, except for her pernickety supervisor, Kath, who seems to have a down on her.
