For my fellow Marines - whether you intend to serve 4 years or 40 years, serve our beloved Corps with HONOR and PRIDE. Many great Marines before us have laid down a legacy of that most organizations could only dream of attaining. Never forget that. What you do from this day forward contributes to the legacy of our future Marine Corps. The day you grasped that Eagle, Globe and Anchor in your palm you earned the title "e;United States Marine"e; and made a promise. Whenever you doubt your Corps or have a feeling of lost pride, close your eyes for a moment and remember that promise. Then, open your eyes and release that same feeling of pride back into your Corps!For all mankind This book is my life s work, a gift back to all of you. It is a distilled down, modernized version of many of the writings and lessons from Sun Tzu, Marcus Aurelius, Lao Tzu, Zig Ziglar, Rhonda Byrne, Dr, John Demartini, Neale Donald Walsch, and many other greats. I call them the Titans of Truth . I have done everything in my power to write it in a way that everyone can understand. The next chapter in your life is YOURS to write, should you be willing. Notice I did not say should you be ABLE to. I know you are. It is merely a matter of making a conscious decision to take charge of YOUR life. Your life is YOUR responsibility, it truly is up to you.
