The butterfly Manar says: "Then I lost my way, and came to a human hut surrounded by lamps, and when I saw the reflection of my wings, I remembered the words of the praying mantis, and I became certain that our colorful wings are the cause of the danger facing us. They draw the attention of predators to us, so they set traps for us and hunt us easily. Then they take our beautiful wings as trophies of their victories over us. Therefore, I approached the bright lamp, endured its intense heat, and burned my beautiful wings, and I said to myself that the pain I am suffering now is a small price to pay to avoid greater pain, if I fall into the hands of another predator." Was the butterfly Manar right in her opinion? Is it right to give up the things that define us out of fear?
