Blood Chamber

FBI Special Agent Dr. Kate Thorne is called upon to unravel a horrifying discovery inside the East Kiva at Aztec Ruins National Monument in New Mexico.  Inside is a meticulously recreated ritual chamber and eleven victims of human sacrifice. Kate turns to renowned archaeologists and a respected authority on Chaco Canyon. Her trusted advisers guide her through the history of the ancient Southwest and the influence of Mesoamerican cultures. She also consults with Pueblo, Hopi, and Diné elders whose oral traditions reject sensational conclusions.
