"e;This book collects the author's travel notes and essays written over a span of more than a decade. These articles document the scenic spots, folk arts, people, and cuisine of domestic and international cities that the author has visited and lived in during his nearly half-century of academic pursuit and professional career. Each article is followed by a poem, expressing the author's fond memories of these places and profound insights into life. The articles in this book span a long period of time, cover a wide geographical area, feature numerous individuals, and are rich in historical and cultural phenomena, making it a rare 'encyclopedia' of Sino-foreign cultures. Recently, some of the author's graduates, inspired after reading his essays, suggested that he translate them into Portuguese to provide a Chinese-Portuguese bilingual reading material for students majoring in Portuguese and self-learners of Portuguese, helping them broaden their horizons and improve their translation skills through these articles. The author accepted the students' suggestion and translated the essays into Portuguese, hoping that this book can serve as a reference for Chinese-Portuguese translation. By reading the Portuguese translations, readers can appreciate the translation prowess of a foreign language worker who has been in the field for more than half a century.
